SPORTCHEK - OLYMPIC CAMPAIGN

Sportchek (yes, that is the proper spelling) is basically the Dick’s Sporting Goods of Canada. They’re also a major sponsor of the Canadian Olympic team. During the games in Rio we created a new spot every four days using footage from the games coupled with four poetic encapsulations of #whatittakes to succeed. Of the four executions, this was my favorite.

In addition to the four TV spots we created we also primed and updated the social feeds, generating over 600 pieces of content in just 16 days.

ACME BOOTS - RODEO

If you don’t believe this is a sport, or these people aren’t athletes then you might be the one who needs your head examined. Just for the record, yes, I have ridden a bull and no, I didn’t last the eight seconds. And sure, the name might sound somewhat generic, unless you're hip-replacement deep in the rodeo world. Then you know what it really means.

Just some good ol’ fashioned posters we put up at the rodeos and select retail locations.

MERCEDES AMG Petronas - F1 social

Social post that was released the day of the first-ever F1 race in Miami. It was so successful TikTok used it as a case study of how to make branded content on their platform. I just like it because it could be the only thing that moves quicker than people’s attention spans on that app.

MERCEDES-BENZ - ARGENTINE GRAND PRIX

Yes, this is technically a car ad, but nobody is buying a car from the 60’s. This spot actually honors the staggering achievement of a driver who shattered racing records and a few other things along the way.

toyota - nfl sunday night football

One of my proudest pieces in my career. Toyota owned the halftime show for Sunday Night Football so we created a series featuring the “Toughest High School Football Teams in America.” We traveled for over three months creating nearly forty original pieces of content for on-air and online, featuring teams that overcame natural disasters, brutal temperatures, deafness, teams that were under-maned, had no home field, or missing parents in the military. Never have I learned so much about myself just by listening to others tell their stories. If that isn’t the power of sport then I don’t know what is.
